Portland's own Keliq (Kali) Washington,                holder of his own 4 medals (one from Denver) entered will be   running the full marathon of 26.2 miles within 6 hours allowed. finishing just after lunchtime.  In fact, he made it in 4 hours in Denver with his bad ankle healing!!!!  

The 2026 California International Marathon takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM PST. 

Race Overview

Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026
Location: Point-to-point course starting in Folsom's foothills and finishing at the California State Capitol in Sacramento.
Course: Net-downhill, fast, and a popular Boston Marathon qualifier.
Events: Full Marathon and the 2-Person Marathon Relay.
