Dance Hall Fire: Swiss Ski Resort Fire (Jan 1, 2026): A recent news report mentions dozens killed in a fire at a New Year's Eve party in a bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, as reported by NY Times. On 1 January 2026 at 01:30 CET, during New Year celebrations, a fire broke out at Le Constellation bar in the ski-resort town of Crans-Montana, Valais, Switzerland. In the incident, 40 people died and 119 others were injured, many of them severely. 5. Iran: Trump threatens to intervene: People are without water. They have been so busy trying to remove Israel off the map that they forgot to check their own water level. 7. 8:00am on 1/3/26: I was taking my pills with water and started choking. I couldn't get my breath. I kept trying about 5 times to suck up air but couldn't, and the nurse was called over to me, and seeing I was in deep trouble started to give me the Heimlich, but just as she hit my back once, I cried out, finding a breath. Water had gone down the wrong pipe, of course, since I had been talking about what a day this was turning out to be!!!
