The BOOGALOO MOVEMENT, or the boogaloo bois: Another One to Beware

                      The boogaloo bois were noticed in 2019.  Here they are at this VCDL Lobby Day gun rights demonstration on January 20, 2020 in Richmond, Virginia.   They usually wear fatigues and Hawaiian shirts in good weather.  The term boogaloo alludes to the December 1984 cult sequel film Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Following the film's release, the phrase "2: Electric Boogaloo" became a verbal template appended to a topic as a signal.  In the movie, The three main dancers from Breakin' – Kelly "Special K" Bennett (Lucinda Dickey), Orlando "Ozone" Barco (Adolfo Quinones), and Tony "Turbo" Ainley (Michael Chambers) – struggle to stop the demolition of a community recreation center by a developer who wants to build a shopping mall. Viktor Manoel, Ice-T, Lela Rochon and Martika also appear as dancers.  From that simple plot we get the boogaloo bois who are out to create the Civil War.  Go figure!  They must think they are saving the country.  

"The boogaloo movement, whose adherents are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois, is a loosely organized far-right, anti-government, and extremist political movement in the United States.  The movement has also been described as a militia.

 Boogaloo adherents say they are preparing for, or seek to incite, a second American Civil War which they call the boogaloo.  Boogaloo has been used on the imageboard website 4chan, an imageboard known for the posting of illegal and offensive content, since 2012, but it did not come to widespread attention until late 2019.  

Adherents use boogaloo, including variations so as to avoid social media crackdowns, to refer to violent uprisings against the federal government or left-wing political opponents, often anticipated to follow government confiscation of firearms.

Some are white supremacist or neo-Nazi groups who believe that the impending unrest will be a race war.

 There are also groups that condemn racism and white supremacy, although attempts by some individual elements of the movement to support anti-racist groups and movements such as Black Lives Matter have been met with wariness and skepticism as researchers are unsure if they are genuine or meant to obscure the movement's actual objectives.

" The movement primarily organizes online, and participants have appeared at in-person events including the anti-lockdown and the George Floyd protests. Heavily armed, boogaloo members are often identified by their attire of Hawaiian shirts and military fatigues."  They were gathered together in Virginia.  Virginia is right outside Washington DC.  Are they Vets or did they buy those fatigues at the nearest Army-Navy store?  

Supporters of the boogaloo movement, among others, were reportedly present and wore emblematic gear or symbols during the riots and the assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. After breaching or being let through multiple police perimeters, these groups occupied, vandalized, and ransacked parts of the building for several hours. Supporters also echoed themes associated with and used related terminology to express their readiness for "the boogaloo."

Qanon, Antifa and the Republican Party

Fact check: False claim of facial recognition of antifa members during U.S. Capitol riot

Claims that members of antifa were identified among rioters at the U.S. Capitol by a facial recognition company are false. The facial recognition technology firm publicly refuted the claims. Published Jan. 7.  (That's scanning a lot of faces in a short time and pronouncing this.)  Who is Antifa?

"Those groups formed a combustible mix with the anti-Semites and QAnon conspiracists rampaging on January 6 to create an existential crisis for the Republican Party, which faces the choice of remaining in thrall to Trump and his more toxic supporters or breaking away."

Antifa is  a political protest movement comprising autonomous groups affiliated by their militant opposition to fascism and other forms of extreme right-wing ideology.  The Anti-Defamation League recommends that the label antifa should be limited to "those who proactively seek physical confrontations with their perceived fascist adversaries" and not be misapplied to include all anti-fascist counter-protesters.  These violent counter-protesters are often part of “antifa” (short for “antifascist”), a loose collection of groups, networks and individuals who believe in active, aggressive opposition to far right-wing movements.  Does this mean that antifa sees others as fascists?  Do they know what that means?  Fascism is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultra-nationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.  Antifa sees OTHERS as fascists when they are acting like fascists themselves?  Fascist Italy (Italian: Italia Fascista) was the era of National Fascist Party government from 1922 to 1943 with Benito Mussolini as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Italy.  He teamed up with Hitler !                                  

                              The Shaman of Qanon

Conspiracy theorist Jake Angeli, also known as the "Q Shaman," who was shirtless to expose numerous tattoos, most notably one of a Valknut, an old Norse runic symbol that has been turned into a hate symbol by white supremacists. Angeli, who has been arrested, also wore red, white and blue face paint and a fur headdress with prominent horns. He carried a spear with an American flag attached near the blade.

• A YouGov survey of 1,500 US citizens found that 30% of self-identified Republicans have a favorable view of "QAnon."Therefore, all these protesters were not just simply "Republicans."  Quite a group combined their efforts to pull this off -something our Americans have always known before -that such an act simply is not kosher under any circumstances.   Americans have always been taught that they don't take the law into their own hands.  They have also been taught in sports that one will win and the other will lose and in the end of a game you will shake hands.         
  

  The man wearing a "Camp Auschwitz" shirt who was photographed at last week's deadly pro-Trump riot at the U.S. Capitol was arrested Wednesday in Virginia, officials said.  The man, Robert Keith Packer, 56, of Newport News, was booked into Western Tidewater Regional Jail by the U.S. Marshals Service at 8:53 a.m., according to inmate records.  Auschwitz was one the most notorious death camps run by Nazis during the Holocaust and World War II. Packer's sweatshirt also bears the slogan "Work Brings Freedom," in apparent homage to the German saying "Arbeit macht frei," which was at emblazoned at the gates of Auschwitz and other death camps.  Which group might he belong to?  Qanon or Antifa or another?  Are the Nazis active again?  

• The "Gimmee generation, a generation that wants results now, has shown that they have no patience for procedures that are non-violent.  They've been working up to a pitch with all the constant demonstrations and destruction of cities.  Take Portland, Oregon, for instance.  We have seen demonstrations going on for over 100 days and every night, like clockwork, the destruction of businesses and city and government buildings were defaced, marred, attacked.  Our downtown area doesn't look the same, anymore and is an eyesore to behold.  It brings tears to my eyes to see my city so damaged as if we've been in a war.

• Now it is generalized that there is a possibility that the Republicans can split in half with Antifa as one group and the Republicans as the other.  I don't see that at all.  Antifa, like others, has many who are anti-Semitic.  They stand for anti-much except themselves!  They should remain in the minority of our population and hopefully get a different kind of help for their warped thinking.  I wonder if they ever went to high school and graduated.  They had to have failed US Government classes.  Qanon is in the same position with the same hatreds.  A slogan of theirs is, "Follow the white rabbit."  If that is who their leader is, I think they've already been led down the rabbit hole and into Bernice's wonderland and smoked the Q.  

In October 2017, an anonymous user put a series of posts on the message board 4chan. The user signed off as "Q" and claimed to have a level of US security approval known as "Q clearance". These messages became known as "Q drops" or "breadcrumbs", often written in cryptic language peppered with slogans, pledges and pro-Trump themes.  At its heart, QAnon is a wide-ranging, completely unfounded theory that says that President Trump is waging a secret war against elite Satan-worshipping paedophiles (people attracted to children sexually) in government, business and the media.  

QAnon believers have speculated that this fight will lead to a day of reckoning where prominent people such as former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be arrested and executed.   There are so many offshoots, detours and internal debates that the total list of QAnon claims is enormous - and often contradictory. Adherents draw in news events, historical facts and numerology to develop their own far-fetched conclusions.  

Yes, Hillary was very aggravating and upsetting to many people, and that's why she lost the election. Trump's victory was such a surprise to the nation that it's a wonder all the Democrats didn't have heart attacks right then and there.  She had been, so many thought, a shoe in.  The Left had no idea of what the Right felt or thought at that time.  Trump had questioned Obama's place of birth and had aggravated them, but they didn't think he had it in him to win the Presidency.   But nobody had the un-brainy idea of taking matters into their own hands and staging a coup over it.  We have elections every 4 years.  Didn't we all learn some things in our required history classes or political science classes?  

A Pew Research Center study in September 2020 found that nearly half of Americans had heard of QAnon- double the number from six months before. Of those who had heard about it, a fifth had a positive view of the movement.  And for many believers, QAnon forms the foundation of their support for President Trump.  Mr Trump has, unwittingly or not, retweeted QAnon supporters, and prior to the election his son Eric Trump posted a QAnon meme on Instagram.  

                                            

One outspoken QAnon supporter, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, was elected to the US Congress in November.  She is an American politician and conspiracy theorist serving as a U.S. Representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district. Greene was elected to Congress in the November 2020 elections, and she took office on January 3, 2021. The attack on Congress took place on the 6th of January 21, a Wednesday.                             

 Georgia's 14th Congressional District includes almost all of northwestern Georgia. Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker, Whitfield, and a portion of Pickens counties are included in the district.

The 14th Congressional District seat is currently represented by Marjorie Taylor Greene (R).  Georgia is also the state that Trump had contention with; demanding a recount of votes to show he had won.

A Black Lives Matter activist who told Fox News last week that he’d followed a pro-Trump mob into the Capitol in order to “document” the siege is now the subject of a criminal complaint in connection with his alleged participation, according to the Justice Department.

 "The storming of the United States Capitol was a riot and violent attack against the United States Congress on January 6, 2021, carried out by a mob of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump in an attempt to overturn his defeat in the 2020 presidential election. The riot led to the evacuation and lockdown of the Capitol "that was in session, "and five deaths."

The mob that stormed the Capitol consisted of some of Trump's longtime and most fervent supporters, coming from across the United States. The mob included Republican Party officials and political donors, far-right militants, and white supremacists. Some individuals came heavily armed. Included in the group were some convicted criminals, including a man who had been released from a Florida prison after serving a sentence for attempted murder.

 Supporters of the boogaloo movement, the Traditionalist Worker Party, the Three Percenters, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, QAnon, the Groyper Army, and national-anarchism, as well as neo-Confederates, Black Hebrew Israelites, and Holocaust deniers, among others, were present during the riot, with some wearing emblematic gear. Neo-Nazi and Völkisch-inspired neopagan apparel was also worn by some participants during the riots, including a shirt emblazoned with references to the Auschwitz–Birkenau concentration camp and its motto, Arbeit macht frei (German for "work makes you free").

 After the storming of the Capitol, two white nationalists known for racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric streamed to their online followers a video posted on social media showing a man harassing an Israeli journalist seeking to conduct a live report outside the building. Some participants wore shirts bearing the abbreviation 6MWE, standing for "6 Million Wasn't Enough", a reference to the number of Jewish people who were killed in the Holocaust.

 According to the FBI, the majority of individual participants in the riot who appeared on its terrorist watchlist "are suspected white supremacists." Following the event, members of the Nationalist Social Club, a neo-Nazi street gang, detailed their participation in the storming and claimed the acts were the "beginning of the start of White Revolution in the United States".

The Associated Press reviewed public and online records of more than 120 participants after the storming and found that many of them shared conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election on social media and had also believed other "QAnon" and "deep state" conspiracy theories. Additionally, several had threatened Democratic and Republican politicians before the storming. The event was described as "Extremely Online", with "pro-Trump internet personalities" and fans streaming live footage while taking selfies.

Some military personnel participated in the riot; the Department of Defense is investigating members on active and reserve duty who may have been involved in the riot. Police officers and a police chief from departments in multiple states are under investigation for their alleged involvement in the riot. As of January 14, at least 28 law enforcement officers or officials are suspected of participating in Trump's pre-riot rally, or joining the Capitol riots, or both. Two Capitol Police officers were suspended, one for directing rioters inside the building while wearing a Make America Great Again hat, and the other for taking a selfie with a rioter.

Well, It Happened: The Civil War of 2020 Burst With Trump Leading the Charge

Speaking at the 'Stop the Steal' rally in Washington D.C., on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Giuliani made baseless claims that the election had been stolen due to voter fraud, and urged Trump supporters to fight the results, as did Trump himself urge his followers on.  The the Bar Association is urging that he be disqualified from being a member in good standing with the New York State Bar."  

Remember Giuliani during 9/11?  He was the rock of sanity that kept us together.  As Mayor of New York City during the September 11 attacks in 2001, Rudy Giuliani played a role in the response to the terrorist attack against the World Trade Center towers in New York City.  His famous comment afterwards was, "There is no moral equivalent for this [terrorist] act. There is no justification for it... And one of the reasons I think this happened is because people were engaged in moral equivalency in not understanding the difference between liberal democracies like the United States, like Israel, and terrorist states and those who condone terrorism. So I think not only are those statements wrong, they're part of the problem."  

Giuliani had become our father figure.  He was a rightous man.  He was there for us.

This emotional state that our country has been surviving under finally came to a head like a pimple ready to burst that has laid there on one's face for a long long time.  Half of our country thought it was saving the other half in a frenzy of attacking Congress in Washington D.C. making a shambles of the building,  several deaths and many police injured and bringing shame on us all.  Our president incited all this with his words, even inciting Rudy Guliani, his lawyer into this frenzy of being on the wrong side of the law.  

Ever since Obama who served as president from 2009 to 2017 (2 terms)  our feelings have been changing and brought to attention by the growing signs of Socialism which brings on the worries of Communism to this proud self-helping country.  The United States Senate career of Barack Obama began on January 3, 2005, and ended on November 16, 2008. He resigned his seat in the U.S. Senate upon being elected President of the United States.  It was a very short-lived period of  less than one term  for a young senator to become president.  He had wowed the country at the Democratic convention with his silver-lined voice and his highly cultured words.                          

Everyone was mesmerized by this young, good-looking, physically fit and intelligent black man who could do so much for his country. at a time of events still in our memories such as the Watts Riots in California.  The Watts Riots, sometimes referred to as the Watts Rebellion or Watts Uprising, took place in the Watts neighborhood and its surrounding areas of Los Angeles from August 11 to 16, 1965. On August 11, 1965, Marquette Frye was pulled over for reckless driving. Then things started exploding.  We were still in the remnant of the Civil War; Black vs White,  which left 34 dead and tens of millions of dollars' worth of damage.  

Since then such events have just continued.  In 1967 in Newark with 26 dead and 1,500 injured;  Detroit with 43 dead and 2,000 injured;  1968 with the Martin Luther King assassination where after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in Memphis, Tennessee, violence erupts in 125 cities April 4-11, 1968, leaving at least 46 dead and 2,600 injured. In Washington, then-President Lyndon B. Johnson sends in the 82nd Airborne Division to quell riots.  In 1980 riots broke out in Miami  with 18 dead and 300 injured;  1992 in LA with 59 dead with 2,300 injured.  The violence was set off by the acquittal of four white police officers who were filmed beating up a black motorist, Rodney King. Violence also breaks out in Atlanta, California, Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco and San Jose. 2002 saw Cincinnati  rioting erupts in Cincinnati, Ohio, after the killing of a 19-year-old black man, Timothy Thomas, by a white police officer.  Mayor Charlie Luken lifts a four-night curfew on the city on April 16, after the city's worst rioting in more than 30 years, during which 70 people are injured.

It happened in August 9-19, 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri  over Michael Brown   after a white officer kills an unarmed black teenager.  In late November, the announcement that charges are being dropped against the police officer leads to a new explosion of anger.  In 2015 in Baltimore of which nearly two-thirds are black. A state of emergency is declared and the authorities call in troops. In 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina had violent protests happened over over the fatal police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, 43.  A curfew and troops were called as a result.  

Trump won over Hillary Clinton and riots occurred because he won!  It happened immediately.  It is unbelievable.  It was believed that Hillary would follow in Obama's footsteps as both were Democrats.  She was the shoe-in.  

High school and college students walked out of classes to protest. The protests were mostly peaceful, although at some protests fires were lit, flags were burned, and a Trump piñata was burned.

Celebrities such as Madonna, Cher, and Lady Gaga took part in New York. Some protesters took to blocking freeways in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon, and were dispersed by police in the early hours of the morning. One protester was hit by a car. In a number of cities, protesters were dispersed with rubber bullets, pepper spray and bean-bags fired by police. While protests ended at 3 am in New York City, calls were made to continue the protests over the coming days.

This isn't even done in sports!  Our team mates were trained to shake hands, play fair.  Half the country didn't want a politician and considered Washington DC "the swamp."  The other half couldn't see it.  They weren't about to play fair, either.

As Trump held the first transition meeting with President Obama at the White House, protesters were outside.  Protests continued in cities across the United States. International protests were held in London, Vancouver, and Manila. Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti expressed understanding of the protests and praised those who peacefully wanted to make their voices heard.

In Austin, Texas, a young girl rallied protesters behind the mantra: "I am a female, I am mixed race, I am a child and I cannot vote. But that will not stop me from getting heard" after which chants of "Love is love, and love trumps hate" followed. In Los Angeles, protesters continued blocking freeways. A peaceful protest turned violent when a small group began rioting and attacking police in Portland, Oregon. The protests in Portland attracted over 4,000 people and remained largely peaceful, but took to the highway and blocked traffic. Acts of vandalism including a number of smashed windows, vandalized vehicles, and a dumpster fire caused police to declare a riot. Protesters tried to retain the peaceful nature of the protest and chanted "peaceful protest".

The Republicans felt frightened and worried.  What was happening to their country?  The Democrats had gone wild.

Trump has been hated by half the country ever since his first day, actually before his first day in office for winning.  How long can a man work under such hateful stress?  The only loving strokes he was getting were from his wife and children, not from the press, ever.  So he called it "fake news."  Fox News became the only positive news given about him, and then in the end even they saw what had happened to this man.  Broken apart.  

Trump was not the first president to win by the electoral vote finish.  There have been five United States presidential elections in which the successful presidential candidate did not receive a plurality of the popular vote, including the 1824 election, which was the first U.S. presidential election where the popular vote was recorded. In these cases the successful candidate secured less of the national popular vote than another candidate who received more votes, either a majority, more than half the vote, or a plurality of the vote.  It had happened in 1824 to John Quincy Adams, Democrat Republican;  1876 to Rutherford B. Hayes, Republican;  1888 to Benjamin Harrison, Republican;  2000 to George Walker Bush, Republican, and 2016 to Donald Trump, Republican.  

On Obama's last day in office, he did not vote for Israel in a crucial vote.  He showed his partiality in this way, not being in the affirmative for this tiny country for Jews.   It is known that he had been the hardest on Israel during his terms in office.  When Trump lost the vote, he broke down, not being heard from for 2 weeks, and when he was...this occurred;  another rally with his followers who left him in order to take over the country.  They had left him with his blessing that he loved them.
